The Ticho Property

The Ticho Diamond Project is located on the South Slave Craton, approximately 50 km southeast of Yellowknife,
Northwest Territories.
Snowfield acquired the 40,000 acre property through option and staking, between 2001 - 2003.

After a lengthy permitting process Snowfield was granted a 5-year Land Use Permit in August of 2004.

In the fall of 2006 a 500-tonne kimberlite bulk-sample was undertaken at the urging of De Beers, Canada. De Beers offered to process the sample at no cost to Snowfield, and with 'no-strings-attached'.

In the Spring of 2008, after extensive delays, 100 tonnes of the 500 tonnes extracted was analyzed, with very disappointing results.

Snowfield is in litigation with Dyno Nobel Canada, and claims damages for the way in which the bulk-sample was conducted.

The trial is set for Vancouver, in October 2011.

Diamond exploration will continue at Ticho, and also gold exploration, which will be reported on shortly.
