Snowfield Development Corp. ("Snowfield" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that after further review of technical data relating to its previously announced (See NR 09-11 June 2, 2009) agreement to acquire four mineral claims located on Simpson Island at the southwestern end of the East Arm of Great Slave Lake in the Northwest Territories, the Company will proceed with the acquisition as negotiated.
