Snowfield Development Corp., is a junior exploration company; TSX.V:SNO

Snowfield's exploration portfolio comprises three projects:

The Nahmint Property is a contiguous, 100 sq. kilometer, early stage copper +/-gold-silver-zinc-molybdenum-tellurium exploration property located along sheltered tidewaters of southern Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada.

The Property hosts three historic past producers of direct-shipping, high grade copper-silver- gold ore which yielded a total of 3,274 tonnes averaging 8.15% copper, 34.4 g/t silver and 0.61 g/t gold.

These past producers were discovered, developed and mined in an era predating modern mineral deposit models and mining techniques.

In February of this year an airborne geological survey was conducted at a height of 50 meters with 100 meter spacing. A copy of the assessment report can be read here.

The Snow Property is a 74 sq. kilometer high-grade gold, silver and zinc property situated in the Alberni Mining Division, Vancouver Island, British Columbia.

Previous sampling on the property has produced assays of up to 160.7 g/t gold, 57.83 g/t silver and 4.58% zinc.

The gold is hosted in vein systems and exploration for 2012 will focus on discovering the extent of these systems.

A 1988 geological report stated that the property was prospective for porphyry deposits.

An airborne geological survey is being conducted over the entire property.

The Ticho Property is a 16,188 hectare exploration property located in NWT, 50 kilometers from Yellowknife, on the edge of Great Slave Lake.

In 2008, at the urging of De Beers, a 500 tonne kimberlite bulk-sample was completed; the results were disappointing and not in line with expectations based on previous exploration. The Company was not happy with the way the bulk-sample was taken and has settled out of court its litigation with Dyno Nobel Canada.

Further work to explore the Mud Lake kimberlite is planned

Gold is known to exist on the property, but no follow up work was conducted as the Company's focus was on diamonds.
Snowfield now intends, in tandem with diamond exploration, to pursue gold exploration at Ticho, where till sampling has returned up to 20.0 g/t in visible gold.
